WOW!! It’s been so long since I’ve sat down and writen out what’s new with me. I’ve been so busy!!!

Let’s see….
Mommy and daddy went to a something called a “New Years Eve party”. I dont know what that is… and I was asleep most of the time. But I did hear them laughing a lot, so they were having fun. Then a few days later we celebrated Christmas… again! and I got lots of fun toys… including this mirror thing that makes noises, I love playing with that.

Grammy, Grampy and cousin Dawn cam to visit me that same weekend… and then 2 days later… i got all sick!! I kept throwing up. I didnt feel well at all. But it only lasted a day… then daddy got sick, then grandma, and then Aunt Jenna. Mommy didnt get sick though!

I had my 4 month check up. That went well, until the mean lady poked me in the leg with a shot. THAT HURT!!!

I’ve started to eat this thing called “Rice Cereal”. It’s pretty good! But I have to say… it’s much harder to poop now. The cereal is pretty good, but I squirm a lot, so Mommy and daddy get a little frustrated.

Mommy and daddy’s friends Mike and Beth had a baby… his name is Joshua and he’s real cute!! But, I’m not so sure I’m into younger boys.

Anyways, mommy says we are going to Iowa this weekend, so I need to go pack. It’s gonna take a while since i have to roll everywhere. Talk to you soon!!

Well, lets just say DON”T let grandma into Babies R Us with a credit card !!!!!!

Got to grandma’s about 8:30. Was awake and talking all the way there. Aunt Jenna was up and ready to go shopping. Grandma gave me my breakfast (the 2nd one this morning) and then I had an explosion !!! OMG it took 4 wipes to clean my cute bottom.
We then went to the store. I fell asleep in the car on the way there (had to rest for the big shopping trip) and then woke up when we got in the store. I had to OK all the stuff they bought. Toys and clothes. OMG. Am I going to have fun on Sunday when we have our Illinois Christmas. Can’t wait.
Back home now and resting. I didn’t know that shopping for me can make me so tired.
See you this afternoon. Can’t wait to party tonight. My first New Years party and I’m only 3 months old.
Love Maggie:-P

So, I used to love driving in the car at night. Mommy and Daddy would put me in the car at Grandma and Grandpa’s and we’d drive home and before we hit this road.. i think it’s NAPerville road, I’d be alseep and next thing I know it’s the next morning!! Boy, it was nice.

Well, I’ve decided I DONT LIKE IT ANYMORE!! It started last night when Daddy put me in the car at Grammy and Grampy’s. He told me we were going home. He closed the door and the light went out!!! I GOT SO SCARED!! I cried… and cried… and cried. I cried so much, i threw up my dinner I had just eaten. Daddy had to drive with a light on until I fell asleep.

And tonight, Mommy and Daddy put me in the car to go to church… Daddy had to work. Daddy closed the door and the light went out!!! I GOT SO SCARED!! I cried… and cried… and cried. I cried until we got to church and Mommy took me out of my carseat.

But you see, when Daddy drove me to Ms. Sherry’s apartment this morning, I was a happy camper. I just dont like the dark.

An uneventful weekend, as Iowa weekends have gone lately.

Christmas Eve: Grandpa’s.  I forgot how crazy and loud and chaotic it is with the entire family there.  You have to shout to be heard by the person sitting next to you.  You need to guard your gifts to make sure that they don’t get caught up in someone else’s trash, b/c the wrapping paper is knee-deep.  But it’s family. And I do love being with family.  It was funny watching Maggie’s reaction, even though she’s only 3-months old. It was the first time she’d been with the Family and her eyes were so wide and she was trying to watch everything and take everything in. I think it was sensory overload for her!

Christmas: Mom & Dad’s.  Us kids bought Mom a new stove and surprised her fairly well with the gift. She had no idea and was just dumbfounded.  The little boys got new tipis from us and just adored them.  It was a toss up between those and their new Hot Wheels tracks as their favorite gifts.  Dinner was wonderful and it was nice to spend time with our immediate family.

Friday- day after: We did nothing! It was great. Sat in our pajamas all day watching movies (I had to work to finish another present though).

Saturday: Grandma’s.  Had a wonderful lunch with ham and potatoes and veggies et al.  No cottage cheese, though. Bad Grandma! ;-)   The family has grown and there are now 6 little great-grandchildren.  But it makes it so fun.  We had good conversation and just a warm, welcoming afternoon and evening.

Sunday: The Bears game and movies.  Watching FAcing the Giants (see next entry for review) and part of 27 Dresses.  I need to finish the 2nd one so I know how it ends.  Another lazy afternoon as we tried to consolidate our presents so they would fit in the car – didn’t make it! Some had to be left behind for another trip!  Or maybe Mom & Dad come visit us??  Got a late start home and had to stop a couple of times for Maggie.  Long trip, got in really late.

The weekend before Christmas, Maggie rolled from her back to her front! (She’s being rolling from her tummy to her back since she was about 3 weeks old.)  We’re excited b/c she’s only 3 months old!  So, she’s a genius, obviously. :)

She also has started giggling and laughing now. Not a lot, but once in a while she’ll let one slip.  She “talks” so much more now with her squealing and noises.
