So, Chicago is going through probably the coldest 2-3 day stretch in recorded HISTORY right now. As I type this, it is -8° in Schaumburg, Illinois. It was -17° when i left the house this morning!
It’s is projected that sometime this afternoon, the temperature at O’Hare airport will go above zero for the first time in over 40 hours. Yes, 40 consecutive hours of sub-zero temperatures in Chicago. That’s unheard of! But good news is in sight: a heat wave is on it’s way in! Tomorrow, we are projected to have a high of 22 degrees! WOO HOOO!!! So, say it with me to stay warm… Tomorrow 22… Tomorrow 22… Tomorrow 22.
Good, feel warmer? I dont! hehe Anyways, interesting fact: This morning at the North Pole it was 8 degrees above Fahrenheit. So, we here in Chicago (and elsewhere in the Midwest) were COLDER than the North Pole. Go Figure!!!
