First Female Biggest Loser!
OMG! It’s finally happened! Season 5 ended last night with the first ever US-female Biggest Loser! I watch this show almost religiously and was so proud of Ali throughout the entire season. I was rooting for her the whole way! And as soon as I find a video on youtube, it’s going up here. ![]()
Celtic Thunder
This is an AMAZING group we happened to catch one night on PBS. 5 guys from Ireland and Scotland and they sound wonderful! They’re coming to Chicago in October and we’ve already bought our tickets.
The 15-year old’s voice will just blow you away.
Almost 19 weeks
Time seems to be going fairly quickly, but also slow at the same time.
We’re starting to think of where we’re putting all of the “stuff” we need to get. Unfortunately, we have more stuff than room, I think.
I’m feeling fairly tired this week; could just sleep all day the last few days. But other than that, I feel pretty “normal.” I don’t feel the little flutters I thought I’d felt the last couple weeks, but that’s expected I suppose. It’s still early.
The big thing is that I am HUNGRY! I can actually eat 2 or even 3 helpings of something at dinner. Popcorn is still my favorite snack and I could have it all day long, and all night until I go to bed. We air-pop it, of course, so it’s perfect with just a tad of melted butter. Instead of the gunk the microwave stuff has. While I still feel a little nauseous in the morning, it’s nice to actually want to eat something.
Plans for at least one baby shower are already under way. It seems wierd to think this will actually happen. Sometimes it still feels like a dream.
You know the hardest part is now that people know I’m pregnant, if they knew I’d lost one (or both) before, they’re like, “Oh, well, then nothing was obviously wrong with you.” I’m like, nothing has to be wrong with me. Sometimes it just happens! But people are inconsiderate or unthinking sometimes.
